I have a dozen pairs of scissors floating around my house, but only two pairs of really nice ones. The small scissors are for cutting floss and the larger ones are for fabric. Period. Give a set of scissors that will last a stitcher a lifetime. Then, keep your hands off of them! A year's subscription to a favorite magazine will be a welcome gift. Or, give a subscription to a magazine the stitcher has not been receiving and add to his or her pattern stash. A scissors sharpener will help keep scissors in proper shape and make cutting floss and fabric much easier. Let me know what gifts you think should be added to the list.
